Hi, I am a software engineer currently living in Jacksonville, Florida. I have a degree in Computer Science from the University of North Florida. Currently, I work at SS&C Advent as a software engineer; I work on the BlackDiamond product, a financial application. At BlackDiamond, I research, plan, size, design, and implement new products and solutions. I research new product ideas for technical viability and communicate the cost to understand the return on investment for the organization.

As a professional engineer, I believe in using proven development theories and methodologies. I use Test Driven Development (TDD) because I believe it helps to consistently deliver quality products. I believe in making a solution that can easily be maintained and modified by applying object-oriented principles like SLAP, Inversion of Control, and SOLID.

One of the great things about Florida is the year-round riding weather; so when I am not programming I am usually found around my motorcycles. I typically can be found in the garage turning wrenches or at the track working to lower my times. Besides motorcycles, I also enjoy being active and playing video games.
