I think I'm officially done with this madness. It's reached Favre levels now. It was announced today that ESPN will have a 1 hour "special" centered around LeBron James' (aka @KingJames) decision on where to play out the next 7 years of his career. I'm all for someone having the right to choose where they go. LeBron James is a Cleveland/Akron hero, and many fans that have been watching him since high school will be very sad to see him go, but it happens. Eventually players leave, it's a part of the game now. Big name players will have teams woo them, then they'll sign, have a press conference, and then hold up their newly sewn jersey.
What they DON'T do is turn it into an season of As The World Turns. Even they know when to call it quits (albeit, after 54 years).

It seems Brett Favre has taken a back seat to LeBronMania this year.

Players from the Mexican soccer team think LeBron's theatrics are a little much.

Larissa Riquelme thinks King James is an attention whore.
I'll probably be the only person not watching. I've set the over/under at 9:53ET as to when I think the announcement will be made. I'm taking the over. 5 minutes gives them plenty of time to go to break, come back for a final segment to announce, and then discuss the decision. I'll be following along on twitter when someone finally says where he goes. I'm thinking he stays with Cleveland, unless he wants to pull the ultimate heel turn in Cleveland.
Someone let me know when it's over.
